On August 27th 2009 the combined effort of the students and staff of Mossbourne Community Academy in Hackney achieved a staggering 85% A*-C grades at GCSE including English and Maths.

"There is a bond between the students at the Academy, and a bond between the students and the staff. GCSE results day was a great day. We are one big family now, we worked together and did really, really well." Year 12 Pupil 2009/10

The Academy has been described as "outstanding in every area" by OFSTED which is testament to the attainment focused ethos of the Academy, the vision of which is shared by all students and all staff.
